Membership Online provides online web services for Clubs, Societies, and Associations, where these organisations are able to store their information online securely, allowing them to access information 24/7 from anywhere.

Membership Online stores their clients' data online on the Internet, therefore security is a very important aspect of their service. When Membership Online decided to install a high performance server for hosting their new web site, they turned to InfraSystems for assistance in designing a solution. InfraSystems installed and configured the web server, securely configuring the web services. In addition to the web server InfraSystems configured and set up the firewall for Membership Online, only allowing specific services securely through to the web server.

Their web site is regularly penetration tested by InfraSystems to ensure the site remains secure, and valuable client data is protected.

UCS Accountants

UCS Accountants provide accountancy services for organisations in different verticals from legal, construction, information and technology, and catering. Unsal Soydaner, Managing Director at UCS, believes in providing a tailored service to his clients; with over 200 clients, he still maintains contact with all his clients and they can approach him at any time.

Consistent and uninterrupted access to client data as well as security of data is crucial to UCS operations. InfraSystems installed, configured and maintains the systems infrastructure at UCS, supporting the data servers, backup operations, client workstations and all aspects of security from the Check Point firewall to Sophos virus scanning software. All these services are provided remotely for UCS without having to visit the site, reducing support costs and providing quality support services as and when required. If issues are not resolved remotely engineers are dispatched to rectify the problem onsite.

InfraSystems also provides IT consultancy services for UCS, advising the client of enhancements to IT infrastructure and possible use of new technologies.

What does InfraSystems do for Salmon

InfraSystems provides a diverse range of services for Salmon, including onsite IT support and systems management, through a dedicated team of onsite support professionals.

Primarily we support Salmon users working locally at Salmon head offices or remotely, at home, onsite or at a number of international locations. We have to deal with all their IT related issues - from help desk support, desktop support, network support, and server support. Providing first, second, and third line IT Support services on aspects of their IT. With Salmon providing leading-edge services to their clients, we in turn have to provide leading-edge support to ensure maximum service availability.

We support a diverse range of technologies for Salmon some of these are detailed below:

  • * Check Point security solutions. Firewall perimeter security including site to site and client VPN connectivity, allowing secure communications over the Internet. We have also implemented Check Point's High Availability (HA) solution; the HA solution provides active and passive enforcement modules providing automated fail -over from the active unit to passive unit - seamless transition if failure occurs.
  • * Salmon utilise VMware virtualisation technologies, sharing hardware resources across multiple guest operating systems. InfraSystems proposed this solution for Salmon, implemented it and now supports and maintains it. This solution has saved Salmon significant time and money when implementing new servers into their environment; provisioning new servers is made simple and quick with VMware server image templates.
  • * Microsoft Windows Active Directory operating system support and installation services.
  • * Linux operating system support: including installation and configuration services.
  • * Microsoft Exchange email support services: including Outlook Web Access support.
  • * Internet, LAN, and WAN communications support: diagnosing and analysing all communication issues.
  • * 24/7 support services for Salmon: InfraSystems provides critical support cover for Salmon users outside prime working hours. InfraSystems engineers provide support through a shift rota; calls can be escalated through engineers to senior engineers or escalated to management to ensure a high level of service for the client.
  • * InfraSystems works together with Salmon to provide external hosting solutions. InfraSystems hosts disaster recovery solutions for Salmon internal systems, as well as hosting services for some of the third party organisations Salmon work with.
  • * IT Consultancy and Management services: we manage all aspects of Salmon's internal systems, from complex server systems, Network Communications, Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS) including electrical power, through to IT security consultancy.
  • * First line telephony support for Salmon: this involves minor configuration changes for extensions and DDI routing. We also manage Salmon's relationship with a third party organisation who provide remote and onsite support for major telephony issues.
